[ branching out ]

IN AN EFFORT to coax spring along, I thought these ideas for decorating with branches might make it come faster (wishful thinking?). Cherry blossoms are one of my favourites but I love the simplicity of clipping any kind of budding branches to display.

  4. Yes!! My mom would always clip some forsythia branches in early March. The bright yellow is always so cheerful!

  7. The forced cherry blossoms in the boots is inspired. And as you will see, I have co-opted the cherry blossoms as well!

  16. I just love the way blossoms herald in the wonderful season of Spring. Unfortunately here in Queensland we don't get 4 definitive season, just a wet and dry season :o( Oh how I miss seeing all the changing colours and smells. Thanks for this post.
