[ my big beach art ]

I'VE BEEN seeing some fabulous big beach art in spaces...






...and so I decided to create a bit of beach art myself using a pic I shot in Nice on our trip in August.

Rather than frame it, I decided to have it printed on canvas {since it will eventually need to be shipped when we move}.




I gave it a slightly "washed" look in Photoshop and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I think it will form a good basis for the beach gallery wall project I'll be tackling on my "to do" list.

  7. I love this, Lisa! I have a bit of a {thing} for old beach photos, too! I love the faded look and what a great idea to print it on canvas! You should sell these...hint...hint...;o)

  13. I LOVE this idea! I have been hesitant to print my images on canvas however, I love a large canvas. I really like the washed out look as well. Thanks for sharing :)
