[ my kitchen inspiration ]

THIS WEEK I'm going to share with you our kitchen reno that we worked on over the past year or so. Tomorrow I'll post the Befores but for today, I'll share some pics that gave me inspiration for the look and feel I was going for. They all have a common feel and some have specific elements that I wanted to incorporate (white cabinetry, subway tile, a marble-topped island, a farmer's sink, stainless steel, and an accent colour like aqua somewhere) We were working on a budget so I knew that it was going to be a challenge!     Looking forward to tomorrow, Lisa. I like process photos as much as a finished room.

    We used subway tile floor to ceiling and a nautical sink in one of our bathrooms. It was a piece of work, but turned out just great.

    Gorgeous! We are trying to do are kitchen too... and with a tight budget. And oddly enough I have an inspiration pic very close to that last one! We got our cupboards refinished in white, got new hardware.. and just ordered some stainless steel appliances (thank goodness for post-holiday clearance sales!)... still have to eventually tackle the counter, backsplash and floor.
    can't wait to see your pics!
