[ diy silhouettes + giveaway reminder ]

I KNOW, silhouettes have been around for awhile but I just don't get tired of them.

I love the idea of creating your own silhouettes of your family to display, including Fido. If you want to try your hand at it, check out this great tutorial over at The Shabby Nest.

Happy weekend everyone and don't forget to enter my blogiversary giveaway by Sunday. I'll be back on Monday to announce the winner!

  15. thanks for including us in this post! the room we designed that you featured is the homeowner's office...she'd previously had the silhouettes of her 4 children done and when were unpacking things for their newly renovated home we discovered them and decided her office would be the perfect place for them. we love them there and she gets to experience them everytime she sits down at her desk!

  19. I ordered a book
    on how to do these
    last fall and this
    reminds me that I
    need to pull it out!
    My mom is coming for
a nice visit on the 14th
    and is much craftier
    than I am, so this
    project will be added
    to THE LIST that I
    want her to help me
    with. Thanks for
    these great images!
    xx Suzanne
