THE SUN is out, the birds are chirping and it's Daffodil Day here in Ireland today. I love yellow daffodils and to me, they mean spring is actually here. And I find that adding even one hit of yellow in a space can really up the cheerfulness of a room.
Do you have any hits of yellow in your home? Happy weekend everyone!

ReplyDeleteSo true! I've been a huge fan of yellow and I'm so glad it's finally getting some attention:) Enjoy your sunshine. It's rainy and grey in Vancouver:(
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow steps and barn door! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love all those yellow accents - I couldn't even choose a favorite! Great montage :) XoL
ReplyDeleteI'm not a great fan of yellow, perhaps only in small amounts..although having said that a vase of daffs or yellow tulips really pops in a room! Love the stairs in your photos! Robx
ReplyDeleteI too love bits of yellow in a room. It's the cheeriest color I think. That living room with the pretty white fur rug sitting on the table looks inviting. Great job, xxx tami
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't have any bright clear daffodil yellow, I do have yellow of the more muted variety, particularly in my living room. The walls are a soft yellow that is picked up in several other pieces as well - it's such a great versatile shade!! Can't wait for spring!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post! first, daffodils are my favorite flower and second, yellow is my favorite color - so happy and fresh. I do have yellow in my home...I just got fab pillows for my sofa and I painted an old table a deep yellow and it is now a side table in my living room. Pictures are on my blog...:)) have fun in Ireland!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spaces! Thanks for sharing. I love the pops of yellow! The room with the yellow couch is gorgeous! I also love the room with the yellow door. Makes me think of spring!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have seen SO much yellow lately and I am really wanting some.
ReplyDeleteI need more rooms :)
Opp I like this post, lovely With th yellow accents, not My kind of color but it makes you happy..
ReplyDeleteYellow is always one of my "happy" colours. Pink and yellow together is even happier! Love pic #3!
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow. It is just one of the best for improving your mood!
ReplyDeleteEach of these hits just the right mark, I think the secret is choosing the right shade and making sure that there's lots of white.
ReplyDeleteI actually have a stool that I recently salvaged and have been tossing up between painting it yellow or a dusty blue - this post may have just helped me make a decision!
x Felicity
PS Love the pink with the yellow in the first shots
