Isn't that floor fantastic? Like something out of a bistro in Paris. I love the long narrow island, the 2 colours for the cabinetry and of course the marble. While I'm usually a white kitchen kind of gal, this one could convert me!

Love how you described what you want to do in this kitchen ...... soak. Yup, I would have to agree although I would love to have a glass of wine in hand also to soak it up. I'm heading to France next Monday so I hope to run into a space similar to this. All of the boutiques are calling my name. I just hope I can find all the pretty ones.

I hate my kitchen seriously seeing pictures like this makes me hate it even more. I curse the last owners that built this house and cut corners in the kitchen and baths!! I curse them daily! Need to go cook dinner and curse them and their cheap counters! lol! Love the floor too!
