[ happy weekend! ]

WELL I CERTAINLY know what I'll be up to this weekend....


I'm hoping to finally find something to act as nightstands! Everything I've seen so far has been either too tall, too short, too narrow, too wide, too dark, too gawdy, too cheap-looking, too expensive...

I'm determined to wrap up the search this weekend and say bu-bye to our cardboard boxes! {Although I have to say that Pottery Barn does have some good quality boxes!}

    Stripes might be nice on that box! :) It's good you're not rushing it...nothing worse than paying for something you hate a month later.

    Hi Lisa, I have just been catching up with your posts. You have been busy! I love your rug and the gorgeous footstool, I am sure you will find something equally lovely for your bedsides.     Good luck, have had the cardboard box nightstand myself at one time or another but eventually when I find the perfect replacement, we are only to happy to see the box go. Happy weekend to you!

    Best of luck this weekend. Can't wait to see what you unearth! And just so you know back here in Muskoka it was over 40 with the humidex this week, not sure how that compares to Dubai but man has it been hot.

    I'd say you've earned the right to get some new nightstands. Love the headboard I see peeking out of the right side of the picture. Hope you'll share the room once the new bedside tables go in.

    Oh, just a thought, but have you considered using floating shelves as nightstands? They are less expensive but can be very sturdy. Just a thought. Have fun hunting this weekend.
