Nothing like fresh flowers to brighten up a day! I would miss having color flowers around me! Great pics
ReplyDeleteI'm so loving the blooms too!! Are flowers not available for purchase either there?
ReplyDeleteSo then, what flowers are around in your local markets then? What are the native flowers like?
ReplyDeleteThe Phoenix desert is in full color right now but I imagine in about a month it will all be burning up for our beige summer as well :)
ReplyDeleteDo you have flower markets at all?
I've got a fun giveaway today :)
Lilacs are on my mind too. What a lovely and romantic flower.
ReplyDeleteDo they have flowers to purchase in Dubai? Probably not lilacs.
Have a wonderful week.
There are flower shops here who carry the typical varieties, as well as a small display in a grocery store with roses and lilies, but it just doesn't compare to driving through neighbourhoods and seeing flowering trees {like cherry, lilac, forsythia and magnolia} in bloom and spring bulbs poking up their heads. That's always been my favourite thing about spring. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blooms! We have had a cold wet April ....weeks behind in the blooms! I can't wait to smell my lilacs outside my kitchen window! Have a wonderful first of May!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful thing to be missing!
ReplyDeleteoh, i love the purple ones!!
ReplyDeletePlease tell me they at least have Bouganvilla there? I at least have those when it's a zillion degrees here. I miss hydrangeas the most. We had bushes of them back home and I could cut till my heart was content.
ReplyDeleteLove lilacs!! I miss those from Canada - we don't get them in our area of So Cal - too hot!
ReplyDeleteLisa - I spent the day working in the garden and if I could package it up and mail it to Dubai I would. Nothing better than the sights, sounds and smells of spring in southern Ontario. Julie
ReplyDeleteOh so lovely, just lovely. I applaud you for having the patience to survive the beige.

ReplyDeleteAdore this time of year with all the flowers and leaves brightening up everything! Beige huh? Get yourself a beautiful bouquet to enjoy! Janell
ReplyDeletepretty, pretty pics! It's rather dreary here today, so these are a little pick-me-up!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to the lilac's. Hope you are doing well. Life has been busy here - hard to make time for blogging :). Hope you can at least buy some flowers to brighten your days.
