[ getting around ]

ONE OF THE things I love about travelling is seeing the various ways people get around in foreign countries. Of course Italy is always known for its Vespas, but we encountered all types of transportation during our Rome visit.

Our method of choice was walking but we did rent one of the bikes for 2 through the Borghese Gardens which was a lot of fun (though I kept trying to steer with my steering wheel even though it wasn't even connected to the wheels!)

So cool! Those cute cars are definitely more my speed, I tried riding a scooter once and promptly started to topple over! XX!

Great pics!! I loved the "baby" cars when we were there...they drive everywhere!! Even on the sidewalks at times and park in the tiniest of places. It was funny to see. You do have to watch your toes too! Lol!

Love the "walking" picture...so quaint and so Rome!

I have always been a big fan of tourists on bikes - a lovely green mode of transport.

I love the vespa's and the little cars but I'm a bit curious about the segways. Is it hard to maneuver? Enjoy a wonderful day, Kellie xx

Bikes for two would be such a fun way to get around! I love going for bike rides with people, but it's so hard to chit chat sometimes!
