REMEMBER those green fields and daffodils? Well, they're certainly not happening in Muskoka! Mother Nature has been one lazy gal around here! Not a speck of grass to be seen - just brown, brown, brown.... and WHITE - where all the snow hasn't melted yet. On the
dreary bright side, it's pouring out right now so maybe it will help melt away that stubborn snow and push this spring along. Has spring arrived in your neck of the woods?

You have snow in April? Wowsers.
For us, on the other side of the planet, I am looking forward to the approaching Autumn, because it means I can wear yummy coats and tall leather boots!
It's funny isn't it, it seems it is really just the change in seasons which is the most exciting bit ~ no matter if it is hot to cold, or vice versa. We just get impatient for something different!
I'm in Texas and I keep asking myself which day was spring. We went directly from Winter straight into Summer. The high temperature yesterday was 90 degrees. Ugh!!!!!
Glad you've made it back...sorry it wasn't to greener pastures!
Hope it will be along soon.
We've had strange weather here in So Cal...warms up then cools right back off...even to freezing a couple nights lately...not at all typical!!
Very glad I hadn't planted my tomatoes yet!!
It was 90 degrees F here in Florida yesterday! ;-)

It is definitely warming up here in Northern Pa, but we have lots of rain and more snow in our extended forcast -- hopefully it will feel like Spring soon for the both of us!
Slowly greening up but no flowers yet! I hope it changes fast. We had 70 degrees this weekend it was unbelievable....of coarse a cold front is coming in! Have a wonderful week.
Those woods look a little scary... Hope you are enjoying Canada despite the weather. This weekend in Las Vegas was very strange. We actually had some snow on Saturday. Snow in April in LV is very weird! Then Sunday was a beautiful sunny day. Spring is a fickle gal! ;)
Everything looks nice and green in the Seattle area...but I am still waiting for warmer temps!!

We've got spring here in Atlanta...but not for too much longer before summer smacks us! Oh how I wish it would stay a nice 75 degrees all year round.
Welcome home,
Lisa! I'd say
that spring is
definitely here,
BUT....I wouldn't
say that it is
pretty ~ YET!!
It happens quick
for us Northerners,
though, doesn't it?

I love this shot. It looks like Vancouver! Spring has definitely arrived, but it is on the rainy side.
Today she is here in all her glory...but the rain is coming back...at least it is not snow. Happy cozy day to you. xoxo
That is one part of Ontario I DON'T miss. Before you know it it'll be 40 degrees so be careful what you wish for:)
