[ big sights, big sounds ]

NO TRIP to NY would be complete without taking in a show on Broadway but choosing is the hardest part! For our first night we decided on Promises Promises with Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes and it was a great choice - so funny and the music and dancing were amazing!

But the highlight of our trip was seeing Harry Connick Jr. in concert which my sweetie had arranged as part of our anniversary celebrations. It was an amazing show being right up front and while he's a great romantic crooner, the second half of the show was like being at a big New Orleans party with lots of big jazz sound and plenty of bootie shaking! Definitely worth every penny for such great seats!

And it was great to see him after the show and have him sign my Playbill as an extra special memento of our trip! Definitely a night to remember! I heart NY!

Oh, how lucky are you, Harry Connick, Jr. I bet he is a really nice man. I'm sure Promises, Promises was great too.

I'm glad you had such a wonderful time.

Love Harry...he lives in the next town over and we see him and his gorgeous family all the time, he seems so cool and down to earth.

SWEET! What a trip!
You really made the
most of your time in
NYC and I've loved
coming along for the
ride. Harry looks
as nice in person as
he seems to be when
you see him interviewed
on TV, which is so nice : )
The Broadway show looks
fab, as well. Happy
Wednesday, Lisa!
