[ branching out ]

IN AN EFFORT to coax spring along, I thought these ideas for decorating with branches might make it come faster (wishful thinking?). Cherry blossoms are one of my favourites but I love the simplicity of clipping any kind of budding branches to display.

Beautiful! I love branches in a home, particularly when there are some flowers that have bloomed. I am completely ready for Spring!!

Love branches too I bought some fake forsythia for a splash of color and love it. Anything helps if it means Spring is that much closer! Have a wonderful day!

i'm a pussy willow kind of girl...i've planted some on the property, near a creek, in hopes of having my own source someday. Love the images!

Yes!! My mom would always clip some forsythia branches in early March. The bright yellow is always so cheerful!
I love the cherry blossoms.

Gorgeous. I prefer this look to a bunch of flowers, think it's the drama.

The forced cherry blossoms in the boots is inspired. And as you will see, I have co-opted the cherry blossoms as well!

I couldn't agree more, branches are great for decorating. I'm looking out my window and see little pink buds on the branches so it's almost time to bring them in:) Carol

I just love the way blossoms herald in the wonderful season of Spring. Unfortunately here in Queensland we don't get 4 definitive season, just a wet and dry season :o( Oh how I miss seeing all the changing colours and smells. Thanks for this post.
It's so nice to meet you and I love your blog!
