[ crates for cubbies ]

IT'S ALWAYS A great flea market day when you come across some fantastic wooden crates. And with the trend to industrial/rustic accents, these crates make some great storage cubbies.

What do you think of using crates for cubbies (chic or too college-student?) Do you have any in your home?

I love them! We live in an industrial loft and have an open nook where we have some antique boxes (which may I add have no real purpose but they look stunning!) Where do you plan to use yours?

I like the wooden create, cinder blocks and milk create remind me of college. I have one an old Campbell's Soup one and I love it.

I wasn't thinking collegy at all. When the rest of the items are classic and "adulty" it works. I think they are great and I love all the neutral colors going on - very relaxing vibe.

Love the look! We use a few for our daily recycling items, now I'm thinking of re-finishing them for a new look :) Nice inspirations!

I love the look. I don't think it's too college student, especially if they're styled nice.

I have always wanted crates on the wall in our mudroom! I think they are so functional, but rustic and different enough to add a little spunk.

I love the rough wood against the clean white walls!

I LOVE them in the photos but I think I'd find it hard to have them in our house without looking a bit like 'Oh, I have some rubbish piled up there'!!
But what gorgeous pictures you've chosen....perhaps I could be persuaded!

Love the crates - very chic. But it is all about the styling. I just found your blog (thanks for visiting mine so I could find yours!) and just visited your store - LOVE! When I get my new ipad (might be awhile as my oven literally DIED today- ugh) I am going to buy one of your covers.. soooo cute! I look forward to following you. xo Sherri

I really like that look. I'd love to see it in one of my boys rooms. Now I'd only have to locate such beautiful crates!

In LOVE with all the crates! The three stacked together w/ wheels on the bottom....may have to make that!

I loved reading this post, Lisa.

I think I am going to go to our closest antiques mall today and try to find a pretty vintage crate, put some casters on in (like in one of your images) and use it to store William's soft toys in it.

Thank you for the inspiration!

Warm hugs,

Mon
