[ a spring in my step ]

WHILE BROWSING through Elle Canada at the airport,  I came across this gorgeous floral coat by Stella McCartney. Florals are apparently a big trend for spring and I love the large scale pattern on this adorable coat. I popped by her website and found a few other lovely pieces for spring.

Aren't they pretty? Even though they're a bit out of my budget, I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for pieces with a similar feel. Will you be embracing florals for spring?

The flowers look so "real". When my daughter was little, we went to a butterfly house, and she wore a dress patterned with huge sunflowers. They looked so life-like that within moments she was covered in dozens of beautiful blue Ulysses butterflies! The other visitors couldn't believe it. Reminds me, I better go digging for those old photos....
This fabric has that same amazing "gotcha" to it. And what a wonderful way to celebrate spring!

Loving the all over white lace dress- Minus the fact that I would have to figure out what to wear beneath it! And the "Desperate Housewives" floral dress at the end is fabulous! Happy Thursday!

Oh, that first coat...be still my heart!! It reminds me of a Dolce & Gabbana coat a client of mine had a few years ago...which I promptly went and copied for myself!

I love that coat and the handbag at the bottom -- I really need to learn to crochet! My daughter has some Stella from her gap line, I which I could afford the adult sizes!
