tunics - perfect for hot days and lovely with linen pants and sandals for a put-together look
patterned plates from Zara Home - perfect to make even a simple snack look so pretty and special (or hang them on a wall!)
Boots fragrance free cleansing wipes - great to freshen up at any time of day on these sweaty days
realliving magazine from Australia - I hadn't seen this magazine prior to moving to Dubai and it has quickly become my favourite
dubizzle.com - Dubai's version of Craigslist, definitely a go-to for used furniture being sold by so many expats on the move
Passion Pasta sauce - my new favourite sauce in a jar from Australia is the closest thing to homemade I've ever tasted
espadrilles - when sneakers are too hot and you need a break from flip flops
What are you loving right now?

I have recently become a tunic fan as well and now I realize I need a pair of espadrilles! I love the idea of Dubizzle, the name cracks me up. :)
The area we've moved to has a fairly large muslim population (there is a mosque in town) and I've been surprised to see how many woman wear blue jeans, but are also wearing a head covering that goes all the way around their faceand neck. Of course the jeans are never tight and they wear long sleeves too. I am curious if the women where you live wear jeans. (sorry this is off topic from your blog post :)
I should have bought some tunics for our upcoming trip. They sure are easy to wear but I hadn't seen many while out shopping. I scoured the malls yesterday and the day before for some cute but comfortable walking shoes. Do you now how difficult that is in this country? I don't think shiny blinged out high heel sandals would work well for hiking. :/ I saw RealLiving at the bookstore yesterday and hadn't seen it before -- At first I thought it was Martha Stewart's magazine but then realized it was from someplace else. Magazines is another hard thing to get here which is really depressing. Censorship is way over the top -- which is why I don't go to the movies here. They cut so much out it is ridiculous and not worth the money to pay to see anything. My favorite bookstore is the Japanese one in the Dubai Mall. Have you been there yet? So much to choose from. :) Stay cool! ) Tammy
Love the espadrilles, such fun color! You are so lucky to find so many things like magazines in English! When in Germany never found a single magazine! My sister used to send me some now and then. Hope you are staying cool and having a great week.
I been kinda on a retail shopping hiatus. So I don't have anything that I'm loving right now, but I love your list.
I am sooo loving your blog. I love following your adventures and challenges as you settle in to your new life in Dubai. You have a wonderful design sense, and I look forward to the next post. One Muskoka girl to another ;)
I agree a tunic and linen pants...put together and cool at the same time!
Clearly I'm out of the loop because I didn't realize Zara had a home division. Love those plates so I'll be looking for the store.
Loving the tunics and those plates - oh zara home! Thank you for stopping by my blog, I just love yours. Your newest follower!
Loving all of those . . . especially the tunics and the plates!
Wonder if Zara Home is coming to the states???? Love the tunics, seems like they were popular a while back and now have resurfaced again in popularity!
