My freshly painted console seemed like the perfect spot for a Christmas vignette. I pulled together items I had around the house, bought some berry branches and a cloche {I found one!}.
first up, some simple homemade shell ornaments....
my antique bottles hold up ornaments under a cloche...
some coral and a shell on a glittery plate...
my cake dome acts as another cloche...
some fake snow and a pretty sparkly bird...
more old bottles and a glass bathroom jar with shells and silver balls...
little metal stars dress up the knobs...
a starfish and 3 baby ornaments in a silver-leafed concrete bowl as a simple centrepiece...
I'm enjoying this simple vignette with just enough sparkle to add some holiday spirit.
What colour scheme are you decorating with this year?

Sea shells as Christmas Decors. Why not. Refreshing and brilliant idea.
So cute! I've used some of the same colours you did, even though I'm no where near a beach or summer! Love the sea shell ornaments!
I think you came up with the perfect solution for a very warm holiday. It looks all looks so perfectly seaside - but still says Christmas!! xo Ashlyn
Beautiful...and perfectly fitting a warm Christmas. I may have to adopt that idea over here...it is December 5th and still raining in Muskoka and plus 4...craziness.
I see snow in there somewhere! Looks pretty Lisa.
I've kept things simple this year...although I think a 3rd tree is still going to make an appearance...
Our white tree has a winter woodland theme going on...acorns, pincones and deer. Silver, gold , bronze and white. Everyone loved it the other night at my "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party"...I would have invited you if you'd still been just down the road. xo
I'm not sure about holiday decorating as we are going away and I can't seem to get inspired enough to do my usual blowout decorating here. This might be just the kind of simple touches I need. Your colors are beautiful and very close to what we are using for a condo my parents are revamping.
I love it you adapted to a tropical Christmas perfect. When we were in Germany i tried to decorate the German way....with candles on the tree (mine were fake) and nutcrackers and smokers, before our stuff was more ski themed and mountain. I love the sea shell ornaments. Are you heading back to Canada for Christmas?
Very pretty and totally suits your location!
I went a little simpler this year with decorations...no time or energy this year to put everything up that I normally do and I'm actually kind of liking the simpler look. I went very classic this year...red & white!
those sea shells are amazing!
Beautiful decoration, I love the colours! I wish I could have one Christmas in Summer temperatures, enjoy yours!
It's gorgeous, Lisa!
I love everything Lisa!!! especially the coastal touches!
It all looks so beautiful that I'd be tempted to leave some of the things in place after the holidays.
So pretty! Love the seaside feel to the Holiday decor... the shells look great hanging from the branches.
Love this idea...unconventional, yet still very festive and fabulous! The tiffany blue mixed with pearl white is so glam for the holidays! Great inspiration!

Lisa, you have just shown how you can decorate with virtually anything and make it look festive. Well done girl!!
Beautiful Job Lisa! I think you found the answer to how to decorate for Christmas when you can melt into the sidewalk outside!! I love the pale, feminine color palette that are using in your home. So lovely!
Great idea to go with a bit of a beachy theme to do with the warm weather. Everything looks really beautiful!! I am doing a bit of blue this year too. I've never used it before. I hope i can pull it off! :)
GORGEOUS, summery, and perfectly festive all in one! I love your ideas.
