[ come on in ]

WELCOME TO a new week! I've always loved a pretty entry. Unfortunately I've rarely been blessed with a spacious, pretty space to welcome guests and set the tone for the rest of the house. Here are some swoon-worthy entrances to start the week...

I love that these all vary in size and style but every one has a lovely feel. I just noticed that none of these doors are solid ~ they all have windows ~ perhaps that's the key? Are you lucky enough to have a fantastic entry?

It's too hard to choose a favourite. They are all so great.
I replced our solid wooden double doors with full glass ones and can't believe the difference it has made to the foyer.

Hi lovely,

These are gorgeous. And you're right - they do all feel really solid. Our hallway is tinnnnsy! I'm still working out what the best way to take it is - this post has DEFINITELY inspired me - thank you!

It's strange how the simpliest of rooms on our my wish list, a proper entry and a mudroom! Love these examples of entries, particularly the third, even if its the smallest! Janell

I love these! Such gorgeous light in all of them. I have a big entry, but still have to make a few tweaks before it will really reflect my style.

Hello Lisa, love your selection of pictures today. I do love a big hallway, particularly if it has room enough for a round table, for flowers.

Our present hall is rather narrow, but it has greatly improved since I removed the carpet and replaced it with a linen runner.

Thankyou for the lovely things you said on Lynne's blog. I am thrilled, as I have always liked the look of that magazine! Have a wonderful week, love Linda x

My entry is very small. I wish I had room for a bench, but that's not the case. I do have a small table placed there, but it kind of crowds the space. At least it gives me room for a small lamp, stack of design books and a pretty dish. Love the images you chose, off to pin!

I always wanted a large entry and now we have one and I struggle with how to keep it from being a dumping ground. These are all lovely!

Freah and welcoming. I am truly drawn to the last image - recently I find myself very interested in coat racks. Probably because my boys keep tossing theirs on the floor! I also love that door and the wood on the walls. Very pretty post!
