Yup, ever since I saw this pic, I knew that I would be making a white slipcover for my sofa ~ I just love how the shape of an English roll-arm looks with a cover...
And now that I've got the cushions all rebuilt, it's holding up well and I've decided that this sofa is worth keeping and worth the effort of sewing up a slipcover.
I won't lie and say that this is a quick, easy project because I've got 4 big cushions to make covers for with piping and zippered closures and that is by far the most finicky part, but I'm following the same method I used when I made the slipcovers for my leather club chairs {read my tutorial here}.
Making some progress...
...and 3 more to go!
What have you been up to lately?

It will look gorgeous, doing up our cottage and treating ourselves to new furniture, spookily we have chosen exactly that shape sofa, but opting for a soft grey fabric.

I am so impressed! I think that slip covers are much harder than upholstery. You are doing great!
