[ dining in colour ]

DINING AREAS have come a long way and I've been coming across so many where the chairs are definitely the star of the show. Pretty, feminine shapes highlighted in a variety of colours, whether painted or upholstered. It's such a fun way to infuse some colour in the room and update the old-fashioned matching sets our parents had.

I have a mix of chairs at our dining table, all dark would with coordinating upholstery. It would be wonderful to paint them all a fun color one day -- I just need to get my husband over the idea that it's a sin to paint wood.

Fun post, Lisa! I've never considered colored chairs, but they look GREAT in all of these images!!! I think I'm afraid to commit when it comes to color. Have to get over that : )!!
