YAY! Our shipment from our Ireland apartment has finally arrived! Although it doesn't include any furniture, we'll finally have all of our shoes and clothes! And.... gosh, what's in all of these???
yea for one shipment arriving. I came to Kuwait with one trunk and that was it for years. After moving to a new apartment, 6 years after being here, my husband surprised me by having about 40 of my boxes shipped here from his dad's place in Canada where they were being stored. ugh! I wasn't so happy because I had already accumulated a bunch of other stuff, and the country style I used to have didn't fit in with what I was doing now. :/ That was about 10 years ago and most of what I had before is long gone as my tastes have changed.
I like all the great things you got at Ikea. And your nightstand looks fabulous! Your post about Ramadan was wonderful too! I don't fast but my kids and husband do. I do cut back a bit since I eat with the kids for iftar. Hubby goes to the mosque each evening where a group of friends serve the workers who come there to break the fast. They had about 85 show up the first nite so it keeps them busy.
Have fun sorting through all the boxes. Best wishes, Tammy
I do not envy you right now. I like unpacking but I hate the mess of boxes and wrapping and trying to decide where everything will go, okay maybe I don't like unpacking :). Good luck!
