[ happy spring! ]

SINCE THE BIRDS are chirping and the trees are slowly starting to bud (at least in some areas!), this DIY project from Martha Stewart is a cute way to bring some outdoors inside. The birds are made from crepe paper and look much more complicated than they really are to make. Shown here with quince branches, this could also be done with some bare twigs or pussy willow branches as well. Hot glue a few silk flower petals if your branches are bare to replicate the look. What a pretty way to welcome spring. Click here for instructions.

So pretty -- I so want a little studio where I can paint and craft, etc. Eye hand coordination would be great too
