[ winging it ]

WING CHAIRS are such a classic and are really one of the most comfortable chair styles around. I love how versatile they are - they can work in a sitting room, a bedroom or at a dining table.

I've had this turquoise one since 1993 - the last time turquoise was a hot colour. A couple of years ago I had fallen out of love with it but now I guess everything old is new again!

We have two wing chairs in a dark burgundy stripped material and I love them. Great pics.

So many times I've seen wing chairs at consignment stores and have felt crazy not to buy them.. I want to reupholster a set, I just know I'll never get it done. Your chair is gorgeous! xx

Wings chairs are by far the best place to be when reading a great book! Love the photos.

Isn't it funny how Pantone decides that a color is "it" and this year IT seems to be turquoise, which I just happen to love. Purple is also popping up all over....and I have a friend who is on a quest for apple green accessories, another popular color of the season. Guess we should all just commit to our faves, once and for all, but what would be the fun in that??? Wish I could reupholster things myself. I can recover dining seat covers, so guess that is something. Hope you are having a wonderful week!
