EVERYTHING old is new again and that's true for teal which was so popular in the 80s. About 8 years ago we bought a 1950s bungalow from the original owner who had decorated the entire thing in teal. Deep teal walls, trim, even carpet! Needless to say, tearing out the carpet and repainting was the first thing we did. I wonder if we would have kept some it of if we bought the home today?
Have you ever used teal in your home? And if you have, are you happy to see it making a comeback?

I love teal and have it sprinkled throughout our house. I'm also thinking my powder bath walls would be fun!
Funny how times bring things back over and over.
grey, peach and teal...you KNOW what's next don't you?!.....dusty rose. i CANNOT do dusty rose again so soon...lol
i find i'm wearing teal more than "living" in it...but i do like it.

I remember going to a couple different weddings around 1988 and the colors were teal and peach. Back then I thought it was gorgeous...now, not so much! I do think teal is a pretty color. Just not with peach. :)
My daughter loves teal. I like it as an accent, pillows etc. or in jewelry but not a whole wall. I'm too afraid of color for that :)
Love teal! Don't have any here, but next time I get to decorate a place, I will find a way to use it. That second to last picture is my favorite. Are you have the same dusty, dreary weather we've had the past two days. :/ So glad it's the weekend. Best wishes to you, Tammy
So pretty! In our Master redo we did mainly chocolate brown with teal accents...like one chair and a pillow and some candles...and a lamp shape. I really like it but hard to find the exact shade.
Love this post, and your title - clever girl ;) I don't know if I would paint walls this pretty colour, but I did recover a chair in teal fabric, and it makes me happy just looking at it. Have a lovely weekend!
