[ white sofas ]

ANYONE WHO knows me knows that I'm a huge fan of white sofas. I love how they make the room feel fresh and allow such flexibility with paint and accessory colours. I've had one for about 10 years and have recently added two white chaises in my family room too. They've survived through years of having a dog (who lived on our furniture despite our efforts to try to train her otherwise) and I find that no other fabric can live up to the wear and tear of daily life. An occasional run through the wash and the covers are as good as new. It did take me a while to convince myself that it would work for us since eating pizza or chinese takeout in front of the TV on Fridays is pretty much the norm but even sweet & sour sauce has washed out like a charm. Thank goodness for Oxyclean!
