[ speed reading decor ]

LOOKING TO fill a blank wall or create a cozy library feel? A little short on reading time? Then how about some book wallpaper? I remember years ago seeing book wallpaper and I'm not sure if it was really something I was drawn to (although that may have been due to the rest of the dated furniture and decor). What do you think of book wallpaper? Is this something you would try?

Yes!!! Or I'd just take the real books. But definitely the wallpaper. I think I'll have to forward this post to my boyfriend as a hint hint for the upcoming holidays.

Wow, it certainly makes a statement! I think I have way too many books to justify book wallpaper!!

I wouldn't use it, but I find it cute and comical.

Also... my husband is a book collector... we have too many books to bother. ♥

I will want the real thing although this looks easier to maintain. Enjoy a beautiful day! Kellie xx

It looks wonderful in these photographs, but I would much, much rather have the real thing!

ps -- I do love how I am seeing books displayed with their pages out, rather than the bindings. It looks great and is a lot less work to oraganize.

sorry for the random question--I am about to post readers' mantel pictures. Did you send me yours? For some reason I think you did and I can't find it. Thanks, Julie

Interesting although I would prefer the real thing. I'm like that.

I'd prefer real books too, but I like the sort of messy looking books in the second photo.
