FEELING LIKE winter will never end? How about tackling a handicraft to make the winter go by faster? I love that all of these charming projects have intricate individual pieces of pattern and colour.
some lovely grannies...
some charming embroidery hoop art...
or some intricate cookies...
I love each one of these and while my cookie icing skills may not be up to snuff, replicating them as little square canvases with paint is definitely doable. How about you? Are you working on any craft projects to distract you from winter?

Oh no, winter is going by way too quickly for me. It's the best time of year here in Phoenix, our days are getting warm and I'm trying to cling to the last bit of coolness we have.
Those cookies are fabulous, I want to eat and admire them at the same time. I'm working on jewelry - as always.
I love that hoop art! I haven't done too much crafting this winter, but certainly have done a lot of baking (which is always fine with me hahaha). Love these images! Xoxoxo
I need a craft projrct Lisa. Winter seems endless. Love the bright crochet.
What incredible icing!! But I wouldn't want my children to eat them if I made something like that....and the small matter at not being the best icer in the world, but I'll put that to one side for now!!

Those images are so pretty :) No crafting from me since Christmas, I have started reading a bit more instead of crafting but I will get back to it
All things nice...
Well when the weather is cold and the north wind makes going outside almost unbearable, it becomes a perfect time for cocooning or nesting or whatever the terminology is today. Nice to just curl up under a throw and read a good book, crochet, or embroider.
The Granny Squares pillow is adorable, brings back fond memories of some old favorite granny square afghans, the perfect thing to cuddle up with when there's a chill in the air.
The pillow is so pretty and omg those cookies...they are almost too pretty to eat!!!
I always love a good craft project. Hoop art is so cute! I've tried to crochet, but I need a pro to show me. Argh! It's tricky.
What a sweet, little sewing table. Uplifts me to know I can have a small space to create..which is all I have. :) Have a lovely day ~ xox Alexandra
