[ step right up ]

LOOKING TO add some pizzazz to your stairs? How about injecting some pattern? If you're a little bored of the typical carpet runner, these staircases show that a little time, creativity and paint can transform them into show-stoppers. I wish my home had a second floor!

Gorgeous post. And I know what you mean in regard to the Olympics. I don't think I've felt quite so homesick as when the recent Commonwealth Games were on and I only had the British commentary on t.v. I missed the Aussie interviews on the pool deck and felt so proud of our young Aussie swimmers! We are going to put our names in the ballot for the Olympics here in London, so hopefully I can go along and cheer them on with an Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi! Robx

Love the middle one...beautiful!
The last one is cool but I think it might make me dizzy...and falling down that would not be a good thing!

These are lovely, Lisa. Staircases can be so boring. We need to do our hallway soon and I'm pondering over staircase options....
