[ jokes and such ]

MY GOODNESS! Who would have thought a joke would hit a nerve? Most of you saw the humour in yesterday's post. Have I ever left  a card like that on someone's car? Of course not. But that doesn't mean that words like a-hole and other expletives haven't crossed my mind when someone has dinged our brand new car, or parked on an angle so there's no way to back out, or parked so close that I have to crawl through my trunk to reach my driver's seat.

I'm happy to hear that not everyone can relate and that fellow citizens are much more considerate in some parts of the world. But sadly, a lot of 'Be Considerate' chapters seem to be missing from the Basic Manners handbooks everywhere and jerk parkers are a daily occurrence. That's a heck of a lot of people just having a bad day. Of course the term a-hole was a bit mean, but that's why it's funny {as I'm typing this, I'm wondering why I'm trying to explain a joke}.

As for Anonymous, telling me you're going to stop following my blog just because you don't see the humour - was that mean? I think so. But that's ok - I have my big girl panties on. And maybe you were just having a bad day.

Happy weekend everyone!

A toast to big girl panties, humor, not bashing your car door into another's and being able to say what's on one's mind!
Have a good weekend, Lisa!

Oh my gosh Lisa!! I was an early commenter so I missed all the petty comments after! Geez!! Lighten up people - it was JOKE!!

And yes, my gosh we've all been there, climbing out the passenger side because someone parked so close you can't open your door or someone parked on your driveway - yep at your house - cause they were just dropping something off at a friends house and there was no street parking. Hmmm!

Mr tough anonymous person can't even say who they are! :-p

Happy Weekend!!

If you want to not read a blog because something as dumb as that, my question is "How does one get through life with lenses like that on?"

Give me a break. I thought it was very funny.,

You crack me up and I love your sense of humor. Between the parking and the horrible drivers, I think we all at some point could use a card like this one!

Hi Lisa, I'm late to the party..in Oz at the moment attending to family stuff...loved the idea of that card...could really use some here in Oz...noticing how bad the drivers are here compared to England...I also really love your 'smiley face' response...you are a funny girl! Robx

Well said! I have to tell you, someone blocked me in my driveway today. Again. I could have used that card. ;)
