With a pack of dye and a few simple tools: paint brush, spray bottle and a few elastics (and some wax if you want to attempt Batik), you can easily let your imagination run wild and create these really great patterns. Try interlocking ring patterns by dipping the rim of a glass into the dye and stamping. Just choose natural fabrics, prewash without softener and you're ready to get creative. Give it a good rinse when you're happy with your pattern and hang to dry. Voila!

Fun!
definitely has a great beach house feel... love it... especially the paper lantern... but I always love those.
The large globe lantern is bizarrely fantastic! I love that tie dye is making a comeback!

Oh my gosh, how cool! I love it! It would be cool to do some pillows and throws for the porch, so summery! I'm breaking out the hookah, lol! XO!
One day I would love to do this. I love the results.
Oh, I totally remember tye-dying! Haven't done it since I was a kid - what a great way to re surge this old technique!
