PERHAPS IT'S because I don't actually have any wallpapered rooms that I'm so drawn to these fabulous spaces with such statement patterns. But I think the thought of having to painstakingly remove it down the road has scared me off for fear that I'll tire of the bold look and want to tone things down too quickly. Have you adopted the current wallpaper trend?

Not really a fan of wallpaper...mostly because I think of the 1950's home with ugly gold foil wallpaper. Hard to believe there is beautiful paper. I like the idea of papering the back of bookcase, something not so permanent. Have a great day!
Well, no. One of my first apartments had painted over wallpaper. The landlord said it was a modern textured look. Not!

Those are some great picks.. I haven't put up wallpaper, but I admire it! xx
I love wallpaper so much, but I'm just like you, fearful to use it in my own home! XO!
Love the paper in the last photo! Wallpaper is definitely making a come back...then again, maybe it never left:)
it's perhaps a good thing that can't wallpaper my rented home because i definitely would if i could. even just a nook or one wall in a room.
Oh my goodness, what darling wallpaper! I love the purple and white one up the top, and the floral rose one. Sooo pretty for a feature wall.
Maybe it's the lingering painful memory of putting up and stripping down old wallpaper but the idea of wallpaper gives me the willies. *laughing* However, depending on the wallpaper, it can be glorious. For me, though, I'll stick to using paint to texturize, build luminosity and depth.
I love wallpaper - I do but in my first house I was going to tear down some wallpaper to paint because that wallpaper was AWFUL!
Anyway, previous owners had papered, painted, re-papered and then repainted and then re-papered and it took me forever to get that stuff off!
Now I just look at wallpaper from a far and think how lovely it is!
just love some of these
